----Basic structure of CT Current Transformer

1.Introduction: The current transformer is a measuring instrument that converts the large current of the primary side into the small current of the secondary side according to the principle of electromagnetic induction. The current transformer consists of a closed core and winding. It has a small number of turns in the primary side winding and is strung in the line where the current needs to be measured.

2.Function: The primary current with a larger value can be converted into a secondary current with a smaller value through a certain ratio, which is used for protection, measurement and other purposes. For example, a current transformer with a ratio of 400/5 can convert the actual 400A current into 5A current.
